Northgate Baptist partners with Food For the Hungry and a small village called Marare, in Uganda, to help them become a self sustainable community. From building classrooms, supporting entrepreneurship and leadership skills, to sponsoring children from the community, we hope to help transform Marare to the point where they can help themselves as well as neighbouring communities.

Co-workers in God's service

On departure from the guest house this morning, we headed for the Food for the Hungry (FH) Headquarters in Kampala. At FH HQ, we met with Trish and she introduced us to other staff members working with FH Uganda to see that the programs are implemented in various villages.

We are all co-workers in the vineyard - God's field! God bless the FH team Uganda and their staff as well all the FH satellite offices including Mbale.  From this moment onwards, we are beginning to have proper perspectives of the assignments ahead of us believing strongly in the promise of Christ in Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]" AMP.
